The goal is to the find the hidden gold in the fewest number of guesses. Each time you click on a button, the distance to the hidden gold will be revealed. The distance is the sum of the horizontal and vertical distances (sometimes called Manhattan Distance). There is only one gold-mine to be found and it does not move. Admittedly this is not an extremely challenging game. When you find the gold, the number of guesses will be displayed on the browser status line. Reloading the page should enable to you play a new game.
